Guidance on receiving and signing agency contracts
Agency/Client Contracts
- Key Points
This can vary depending on the agency involved, but we will usually receive the assignment details either in the form of an Assignment Contract or via an email from the agency, stating such information as your contract rate and your assignment start/end dates. Once this has been received, an assignment for you will be created on our Portal, and you will be emailed with the Assignment Details we have received, so that you have this information for your own records. We will also require your response with acceptance, which will allow us to sign the contract with the agency. Initially there should be one assignment contract per role that you are performing with the following schedules with extensions and amendments if required.
- Where can I find my Assignment Contract?
If we have received an Assignment Contract from your agency for your role, this will usually be included via a hyperlink at the bottom of the Assignment Details email we have sent to you. If you are unsure of this, please do respond to that email, and a member of the Contracts Team can confirm this for you.
- Where can I find out if I need to submit any timesheets to Nasa for payment for this assignment?
Whether you need to submit any timesheets/information on Nasa’s portal can be located within the body of the Assignment Details email, and our step-by-step guide can be found within our Knowledge Hub by searching 'timesheets'. You will usually need to complete this in line with your payment frequency, i.e. weekly submissions for weekly payments, but this will also be confirmed in the body of that same email.
- I have received the Agency Contract/Assignment Details, and the information is incorrect, what do I do?
Our Contracts Team will need to query this information with your agency to confirm or request the updated information. Please respond to the Assignment Details email with your understanding of what the correct information should be, and we can then liaise with your agency.
