You can use our online calculator for a quick estimate of your take home pay. For a personalised illustration, please contact our friendly onboarding team.
Before joining an umbrella company, we'd always recommend obtaining a personalised pay illustration. This will give you a clear understanding of your expected net take home pay after deductions.
There are various online calculators and tools available to help you determine your projected take home pay. You can view our website for a quick and simple calculation here.
Online calculators work from a set of assumptions, so we'd always recommend that you get in touch with us directly for a personalised illustration. This allows us to gather more information about your situation, to ensure that the example we are providing is accurate for your particular circumstances.
In order to provide a personalised pay example, we'll need to know the following:
- Your contract rate, and expected working hours / days per week.
- Which recruitment agency is this contract through? Some of our processes are agency determined, so we'll need to know this to ensure we are providing correct information.
- What is the expected contract duration?
- Tax code (if known) - If you're unsure of your current tax code, we will assume the standard tax code of 1257L.
- Holiday pay is included upfront (in advance) with your payments, and included within your total take home pay.
- Do you have an outstanding student loan? If so, was this taken out before or after 2012?
- Do you reside in Scotland, or the rest of the UK?
- If you would like to make contributions to your own private pension scheme or SIPP, please can you advise the provider name, and how much you would like to contribute?
