Employers have certain obligations when it comes to workplace pensions, even if you previously opted out.
Every 3 years, Employers are obliged to re-enrol staff who have previously opted out of the workplace pension scheme. This is called re-enrolment. Nasa will be obliged to re-enrol employees after 01/05/2023.
As this is a legal requirement for each Employer, we are not able to stop this process. You can however simply opt out of the workplace scheme again if you would like to.
When NASA come to re-enrol, our employees will be reassessed using the following criteria:
-
- eligible jobholders, aged between 22 and State Pension age, and earning at least £10,000 a year, and
- previous member of the Scheme that has now opted out
You can read more about the requirement here: Pensions Regulator.
Opted out of the workplace pension but want to opt back in? No problem! You can do this by contacting Nasa Payroll - payroll@nasagroup.co.uk.
